Scholarships

At Sri Krishna College of Engineering (SKCE), we strongly believe that financial constraints should never hinder a student’s dream of pursuing quality education. To support meritorious and deserving students, SKCE offers a wide range of scholarship schemes and financial assistance programs.

Scholarships
  • Awarded to students with outstanding performance in 10+2 / HSC examinations.
  • Top-ranking students admitted through Anna University TNEA counseling are eligible for tuition fee concessions.
  • Scholarships are also extended to students securing university ranks during their course of study.

Eligible students can apply for various Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India scholarships, including:

  • BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship – for students belonging to Backward, Most Backward, and Denotified Communities.
  • SC/ST Scholarship – for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students.
  • First Graduate Scholarship – financial assistance for students who are the first graduates in their family.
  • Minority Scholarships – available for students belonging to minority communities.
  • National Scholarship Schemes – as per Central Government norms.

The management of SKCE, under the Rural Welfare Trust, provides special fee waivers and concessions to deserving students, particularly:

  • Economically weaker section (EWS) students.
  • Rural students with proven academic merit.
  • Students excelling in sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities.

Students who take part in innovative projects, paper presentations, and competitions at national/international levels are supported with financial assistance, covering registration, travel, or project costs.

How to Apply

  • Students must submit a scholarship application form available at the admission office.
  • Required documents include community certificate, income certificate, and academic records.
  • Applications are verified by the scholarship committee before approval.

With these scholarships, SKCE ensures that talent is nurtured, irrespective of financial background. By supporting deserving students, the college continues its mission of empowering rural youth with education, skills, and confidence.
