The B.E. - Candidates must have completed 10+2 / HSC with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Admission is through Anna University counseling (TNEA) or as per Tamil Nadu Government norms.
- Diploma holders in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering are eligible for lateral entry into the second year.
